It appears that FBI Agents were present at the January 6th Protest, likely acting as Agitators and Insurrectionists, rather than as 'Law Enforcement Officials.'"

However, a December 2024 report from the DOJ's Office of the Inspector General found no evidence supporting the notion that the FBI had undercover agents within the protest crowd.
